For as long as I can remember, I always had a passion for building stuff. This started as a kid, and when I was a young adult I started to work for a construction company.

This passion kept on growing stronger and stronger, and in 1990 I decided to start my own construction business called Nan Inc.

I called the company Nan Inc, because my real (Korean) name is Nan Chul Shin. In the US, I decided to use the name Patrick Shin, since this is easier.

Now, I have a successful construction company in Hawaii with hundreds of employees. My passion for construction hasn’t changed. I still love it!
